The Challenge
Traditional weed management methods in public spaces often lack systemic effect, require numerous treatments, or have a high impact on our environment. The CityZAS, powered by Zasso, is the first effective method without these limitations, making it ideal for reducing weeds in urban environments. It was adapted by Group Verschueren to ensure the efficiency and sustainability of electric weeding with the versatility of a tool carrier.

The Concept
CityZAS consists of an electric weeding platform mounted on multi-purpose vehicles and tool / equipment carriers, powered by hydraulic or mechanical PTO.
Its two main subsystems, the front applicator and the supply unit, are attached to the front and rear of the vehicle respectively. The unit in the rear includes a generator, up to high-voltage transformers with an output of 18 kW, and an electrical control cabinet. The applicator in the front attachment can be shifted out to the side so that the weeds next to the vehicle can also be treated, particularly by the edge of sidewalks.
Designed with specific customer requirements in mind, the CityZAS combines the efficiency and sustainability of electric weeding with the versatility of a tool carrier. The CE-certified solution also includes visual and acoustic warnings, and a 360° surround view camera system, to see hidden blind spots and to anticipate approaching pedestrians.
