CATI performs tests with Zasso Electric Weeding

The Coordination of Integral Technical Assistance (CATI), headquartered in Campinas, São Paulo and established in 1967, is an organ of the Secretariat of Agriculture and Supply of the State of São Paulo (DECREE No. 41,608 of 2/24/1997).
CATI came up with the mission of promoting sustainable rural development through participatory programs and actions involving the community, partner entities and all segments of the agricultural business. It coordinates and runs technical assistance and rural extension services for small and medium farmers, with emphasis on animal and vegetable production, soil and water conservation, and seed and seedling production.
Present in all the municipalities of São Paulo, through the 594 Agriculture Houses, 40 Rural Development Offices and 21 Seed and Seedling Production Centers, it provides practical agribusiness development actions, according to the reality of each region.
CATI offers, through the Department of Seeds, Seedlings and Matrices (DSMM), low-quality quality genetic materials, thereby ensuring competitiveness as well as increasing the income of rural producers. More than 20 seed varieties and around 300 different seedlings are sold by the institution.

CNHi and Zasso form strategic cooperation for next-generation herbicide

Zasso and CNHi are extending their range of Precision Farming Applications with XPower to help farmers optimize their field, crop and weed management. The new Platform will improve farmers returns as well reduce the chemical herbicide consumption, therefore protecting the environment. The new XPower by Zasso system allows nonselective burndown applications such as field preparation, potato haulm desiccation and special treatments such as wine and trees.

The new XPower platform will be available from 2019.
